Music career started back in 1999, at the Trinity College Kandy. Where the first song was   Sihinayaki Oba   released in 2001, which was later included in the debut album   Tharukata  , released in 2005. First video song was the hit song  Kavikara Handawe . Video song  Dampata Handawe  which released recently became one of the mega hits in Sri Lankan Top Charts.

 Recent audio releases include songs like  Nethkalum ,  Anduru Ahasaka  and four other songs which came under the Rakitha Productions, namely  Matanam ,  Heenayakda ,  Maa sewwa ,  Mal Suwandawage .
